Abaya and hijab fashion is of course, huge in the Middle East. But last month, we even saw a few hijab looks in Fall/ Winter 2017 collections from other designers like Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara. It’s great to see the western fashion brands are creating these beautiful pieces of clothing to cater to the Muslim women. Dolce & Gabbana have been designing hijabs and abayas for a few seasons now! It’s a welcome change to see the fashion industry embracing different cultures and religions.
So, check out what’s trending in latest hijab fashion.
Latest Hijab Fashion
For Spring Summer 2017 collection, Dolce & Gabbana had floral printed hijabs and abayas. The color palette included bright pastels like pinks and peaches. The traditional black abayas had floral patchwork and sequin embellishments.
Leopard print gives them a chic twist and we saw beautiful leopard printed abaya with matching turban. The abaya was embellished with multicolored stones on the neckline for a party look.
Stylish kaftans have also been seen in the latest Dolce & Gabbana collection. Kaftan tops and dresses make a cool outfit without the hijab, too. I loved the leaf printed kaftan paired with a turban. Turbans give the uber chic look. It’s a great way to show off your earrings! And it can be draped in different ways to look super stylish. Turbans look hot with western wear, too!
Accessories like embellished handbags, earrings, finger rings and sunglasses – embellished with three-dimensional roses were seen. Matching handbags with the abaya collection looked chic.
In the Fall Winter 2017 fashion shows, we saw more wintery colors like black, navy blue and nude beiges. Alberta Ferretti had a black long coat with navy blue velvet stripes paired with a black hijab. The outfit is casual and a modern woman can don it with ease and look stylish too. Max Mara too had a similar look with beige long coat and matching hijab.
