Discover my casual outfit for Spring 2016 – a black sweater dress paired with pink accents and Chanel makeup. The look is chic, girly yet easy!
Hey gorgeous! It’s that time between winter and spring, when you have to be slightly cozy in sweaters, but can’t wait to freshen up your look with some florals and brights! That’s why my latest look is exactly that – casual, cozy and fun! And how to wear a black sweater dress? Just choose a nice color for accessories and make it pop! Or even a metallic shade for some bling. I wanted to use my winter sweater dress in spring, so I used some spring-like accents on it – with bright pink.
I love wearing neutral and tonal color outfits with contrasting accessories. So this time I paired my black sweater dress with fuchsia belt and lipstick. I added silver and pink bracelets, a single pink pearl earring, black tights and suede boots, and because the sweater dress was so girly with its tiny frill sleeves, I finished the look with a black headband.
This is a casual look, great for college or a drinks night with friends. The makeup is glam and feminine. I used some foundation for good coverage, topped off with blush and a little bronzer for contouring. I loved doing the eye makeup for this look. I used black eyeshadow on the outer corners and eyeliner on the top and bottom of my eyes, from the latest Chanel Autumn Winter 2015 collection. And I paired it with shimmery copper eyeshadow on the center of the lids.
And of course, a spritz of Chanel N°5 – because, why not?!
I did some quick and easy nail art on my nails – ombre with fuchsia and light pink – to match the look!
So, did you love me trying out a youthful, girly look for Spring? Do you like to wear sweater dresses? And how do you wear your black outfits? Comment below! Lemme know!
