Hi Sultana,
Apologies for my late reply and I must say you leave me with hardly any options when you rule our tops and dresses. Let me start by saying this – just because you wear a top or dress, doesn’t mean that you can’t look unique and fashionable. So do try some totally out-of-the-box trends in dresses or tops, pair them with classy accessories and it’ll make a birthday outfit to remember.
For me, I always make sure to show my personal style on my birthday. For example, I personally prefer just a classic white dress in a simple silhouette that flatters my body type and accessorize it in the best way I know – pearls and pumps! So keep in mind your personal style when choosing the outfit. If you feel comfortable in something, don’t go out of your way to do extra. Afterall, it’s your day and you must feel happy about your style.
That being said, some unique options to try are fringed rompers or a jumpsuit with three-dimensional details. If you’re pear shaped, avoid ruffles and flounces, choose a simple silhouette. Culottes and palazzos are also still very trendy, so you can try a pair pleated culottes (since it’s summer) or palazzos with a lacy bodysuit. Here are some of these ideas:
Don’t go overboard with accessorizing if you’re trying an outfit that’s too catchy. And if you have a plain, classic outfit, go for a catchy accessory, like a metallic belt or shoulder-length tassle earrings.
Happy birthday in advance and hope you select the perf outfit that makes your day! Do show me your outfit by tagging me in your Insta pic @shilpaahujadotcom <3
