Ruby asked
Hi, I recently bought a black chiffon designer saree but i did not like the thread work blouse with it and hence looking to get another one. Can you please suggest which blouse would compliment my black saree?

Hello Ruby! Black is an all-time favorite that almost everything would suit it. You have many options to pair with black, especially when the major part of the outfit is black i.e saree in your case.
You can try a classic sequin or embroidery design or something bold with a contemporary touch, like ponchos or cape. Here are a few options in blouses with different colors and designs to go with a black saree.
Traditional and Classic
If you are looking to get something which is subtle yet classy, try full sleeved or boat neck blouse.
The full sleeved skin fit collared blouse would look lovely with any black saree.

Or you can go for a plain sleeveless blouse.
You can even try a contrasting shade like red, blue or pink, or go for a color from your border.
You can also try a fully embroidered blouse, either in black, or in a bright bold shade like red or gold.
For an even bolder look, go for a cut-outs or ruffled blouse.
The trend of elbow length sleeve is quite in these days. Try it with boat neck to get a classy look!

Bold & Contemporary
If you want all eyes glued on you then go ahead and try these bold new styles, which are super trendy and worth trying such as capes, ruffles, sheer and off-shoulder.
Capes and ponchos are quite in these days and they go well on sarees too. Also consider a sleeveless or cap sleeved blouse to get a flawless look.
Pratik & Priyanka
You can also try strapless or off shoulder blouse that can also be worn on top of the saree.
Shantanu & Nikhil
Jackets are also paving their way in the trends of saree blouses. Try either a mandarin or flat collared jacket. The length of the jacket should be hip-length or just above the navel.
Ritu Kumar
These days half-tucked half-out jacket is really trendy.

For a glam look, try a sleeveless sheer blouse with a black saree. You can either have two colors in the blouse, one for the body and other for sheer. If you don’t feel bold enough to wear a sleeveless blouse yet thinking to try this trend then try a full sleeved blouse.

Ruffles are gaining popularity among the blouses, too! You can try ruffles either at the sleeves or at the neckline.
