#VersusVersace Fall/Winter 2016-17 collection tries to redefine ‘cool’. The collection is set in almost a strict neutral color palette of mocha, khaki, charcoal, black and copper, and combines the classics – leather, fur, denim and a bit of sheer. For the most part, it also puts together the new normal for how the youngsters should dress everyday – pair a straight-cut crop and faded jeans with fitted shirt, a mini-skirt with casual booties, shorts with fur coat and a maxi dress with undone hair. It’s not so much defining as it is just reiterating. But interesting, wearable, and chic nonetheless.
My favorite looks from the collection are a sheer red and black top paired with crop skinny jeans, and a charcoal-colored cut-out top with geometric pattern paired with crop and folded boy-denims.
