Dontella Versace creates unforgettable looks again in Versace Couture Fall 2017-18 collection! Discover the looks and read our review here!
Dontella Versace’s eye for detailing is no secret. With well-fitted silhouettes, the collection redefines sexiness, romanticism and elegance. With just nineteen looks, the collection had a mix of blazers, coats, evening gowns, metallic dresses and stunning accessories. The show atarted with a white color cape tuxedo paired with sequined cropped pants that had ombré effect on it. The fashion show description describes the collection as one that, “balances the attitude of Atlier Versace cocktail with the perfection of evening attire.” Dontella Versace stated ,”Atelier Versace is a fantasy come to life. It is about power and fragility, and the inner strength when the two are combined.” Indeed, a fragile collection filled with grace and pride.
The color palette was what really defined the collection – pure whites, classic blacks, pastels like pinks and blues and shimmery metallic gold! The makeup popped out with colored eyeshadow and dark lips. The models had their hair pulled back and tied into a bun, accessorized with a plain black headband. In a look, a necklace literally held an entire dress. The lace has bronze embroidery which fades transparency. A gorgeous creation and one of my favorites, too!
Milan architecture and Italian mythology inspired the accessories like a mosaic bracelet and ring. Other accessories included printed long gloves and in two looks, 3D-printed belts with snake motifs made a statement. Shoes included metallic booties, strappy high heels and matching booties.
With refined shoulders, exquisitely crafted embroideries, 3D-printing and accentuated waistlines, there’s no lack of imagination in the collection.
