Business suit (N.) [biz-nuhs soot] A business suit is a two or three piece formal garment that consists of a suit jacket and a matching pair of trousers, and sometimes a matching vest that can be worn in corporate or formal workplaces. Deconstructed tuxedo (N.) [dee-kuhn-struhk-tid tuk-see-doh] A garment that has been designed by using parts of a tuxedo suit and either pairing or attaching them with other garments is called a deconstructed tuxedo, such as a tuxedo jacket attached to a skirt to form a dress.
Jumpsuit (N.) [juhmp-soot] A one-piece garment that has a pair of trousers attached to a top is called a jumpsuit. Also see romper.
Matching set (N.) [ma-ching set] A garment that consists of a pair of shorts, trousers or a skirt and a matching top is called a matching set.
Romper (N.) [rawm-puhr, rom-] A one-piece garment that has a pair of shorts attached to a top is called a romper. Also see jumpsuit.
Safari suit (N.) [suh-faar-ee soot] A two-piece garment that has a pair of flannel, usually khaki-colored trousers or shorts and a matching safari jacket is called a safari suit. Originally, the term was used to denote a suit that was designed for going on African safaris, hence the comfort, lightweight-ness and color.
Shorts suit (N.) [shawrts soot] A two piece garment that consists of a jacket with lapels and a pair of matching shorts is called a shorts suit. Also see business suit, palazzo suit.
Suit (N.) [soot] A two piece garment that consists of a jacket with lapels and a pair of matching trousers or skirt is called a suit. Also see business suit. Suit may also refer to a set of clothing items that are meant to be worn together, such as wedding suit, bathing suit, etc.

Tuxedo suit (N.) [tuhk-see-doh soot] A formal suit that consists of black or navy trousers and a matching tuxedo jacket with satin lapels is called a tuxedo suit, worn on formal occasions like weddings or black-tie-events. Tuxedos are sometimes also worn with bow-ties. Also tux, tuxedo.
Skirt suit (N.) [skuhrt soot] A two piece garment that consists of a jacket with lapels and a pair of matching skirt is called a skirt suit. Also see suit.
Jogging suit (N.) [jawg-ing soot] See track suit.
Night suit (N.) [nahy-t soot] A set of garments worn at night while sleeping, consisting of a pair of loose trousers or pajamas and a matching shirt or top is called a night suit.

Bikini (N.) [bi-kee-nee] A set of garments worn at while swimming or near the pool or beach, consisting of a pair of bikini bottoms and a matching bikini top is called a bikini.
Swimsuit (N.) [swim-soot] A one or two piece garment that is worn while swimming or near the pool of beach, made of stretchable and quick-drying material is called a swimsuit.
Mandarin suit (N.) [man-duh-rin soot] A suit that consists of a pair of trousers worn with a matching button-up jacket that has Mandarin collars is called a Mandarin suit. Also Nehru suit. Also see suit.

Wedding suit (N.) [wed-ing-soot] A suit worn by men at weddings, usually a tuxedo, that consists of black trousers and a matching formal jacket, often short and sometimes with a longer tail, is called a wedding suit.

Riding suit (N.) [rahy-ding soot] A set of garments worn while riding a motorcycle, consisting of a motorcycle jerset and matching stretchable and quick-dry, usually leather tights is called a riding suit. It may also be one-piece. Also motorcycle riding suit.
