Hey beauty! Don’t we just love checking out the newest makeup looks for inspiration? Be it from Pinterest, Instagram, magazines or of course fashion shows, they are all wow-worthy! Fall 2017 haute couture fashion shows came up with a few surprises and added some really cool trends into the makeup mix. We saw makeup trends with colorful, edgy eyeshadow and skin so glowy as if it was covered in subtle shimmer mixed with a moisturizer with total gorgeousness and youthfulness.
So if you’re not sure what new beauty trends to try, then here you go with trending makeup for Fall 2017!
Trending Makeup for Fall 2017
1. Nude Lips
Nude lip color is a must for anyone who loves lipsticks. A nude lipstick goes a long way and it is perfect to tone things down. It can keep things professional or classy. Or both! By this point, nude lip has become as classic as the red lip color. Why? Because it’s sexy and yet allows you to wear a bold eye makeup or smokey eyes without being too much.
2. Dewy Skin
“Matte skin is passé!” Dewy skin has made its way back into the beauty game this season. It’s all about looking natural and creating shine with highlighter and moisturizer, but not too much shine, which equates to healthy skin. We saw dewy skin on the runways of Fendi, Ralph & Russo and Versace. I’m just loving this trend.
3. Bold Brows
“Overplucked brows are out and bold is in!” We saw bold eyebrows paired with dewy look, winged eyeliner and nude makeup on the runways of Dior, Ralph & Russo and Zuhair Murad. So keep your brows on the natural side and don’t forget to brush them and fill in the gaps!
4. Nude Makeup
Sometimes you just need to go nude when it comes to makeup! No makeup makeup is still very trendy this season. We saw nude makeup in the shows of Dior, Schiaparelli and Armani. I’m liking the Dior look which is natural and youthful!
5. Natural Light Pink Lips
This is my favorite trend for FW17 and we saw this shade in the fashion shows of Jean Paul Gaultier, Guo Pei and Elie Saab. We saw both glossy and dewy lips with different shades like rose and light strawberry pink. Natural light pink lipstick is a must for every vanity case, especially for those who don’t wanna experiment too much. Paired with sultry eyes loaded with heavy mascara, this shade is a great option for special occasions and formal parties.
6. Highlights at the Inner Corner of the Eyes
“Highlighting is the new contouring.” Highlighting the inner corner of your eyes makes your eyes pop and more open. Use white eyeshadow or cream-shaded shimmer that we saw in the fashion shows of Guo Pei, Valentino and Ralph & Russo in Paris Fashion Week FW17 couture.
7. Natural Eyeshadow with Smokey Outer Corners
We saw natural eyeshadow with ash-colored eyeshadow on the outer corners. The brown eyeshadow was taken upto the brow like a smokey wing in Alexander McQueen. We also saw brown colored outer corners on the runways of Guo Pei and Zuhair Murad. This trend is also very easy to recreate. We also saw the no eyeshadow look paired with heavy mascara, dark lips or eyeliner on many runways, which is a great idea to keep your look more subtle.
