Skincare Trends among the Top Brands
Our trend forecasters analyzed 2020’s top skincare trends. We analyzed how many trends occur in the skincare products of the top brands, and this is also a criteria for the rankings. Data comparison shows that top-tier skin care brands like to play safe and traditional – shying away from new skincare trends or eco-skincare. Mid-tier and newer brands are setting themselves apart with new trends in skincare. Non-toxic, vegan skincare, microbiome and niacinamide are most popular.

1. L’Oreal
L’Oreal, founded in 1909, is a global brand and a household name. Known for its great skincare, hair care and makeup, the brand focuses on women of all ages. However, anti-aging is the brand’s main focus. The products range between $5-$40, putting the brand in the premium range.
This is one of the top skincare brands that’s not big on vegan and natural products. In my personal use, the Pure-Clay Mask is a great product. It is a no-fuss mask that gives you soft and supple skin.
Aishwarya Rai, Viola Davis, and Eva Longoria are the faces of this international brand.
