Tarun Tahiliani had beautiful gowns, sarees, anarkalis and kurtas. The cropped pant saree with embellished jacket surely made a statement. And the orange floral print skirt and full-sleeved crop top looked chic and elegant!
Ponchos were used in a unique way in many looks. In a few looks, a shawl was draped and pinned with a brooch. The black sheer poncho with red circular motifs was paired with a saree and palazzos which was creative.
Huge polka dots were seen in skirts, sarees and tops. Geometric prints and patterns were seen in few looks with artsy prints.
The straight long kurtas pastel pink and orange was a nice, casual party wear outfit. I loved the pairing of velvet long coat with it. The front slit black top with pockets defines the modern woman.
Chokers and huge multiple bracelets were worn in the collection. Also, one cannot miss the triangular handcuffs that extended until the palms.
Menswear included velvet buttoned kurta, solid-colored blue kurta, black high-low kurta, golden brocade long kurta and printed pants.
The metallic ruffled gown was mesmerizing. The gown had embellished leaf designs at the bottom.
The highlight of Amit Aggarwal’s collection at Amazon India Fashion Week Finale was a beautiful saree was draped into a gown paired with a strapless metallic blouse. And gowns which had elements of saree like the pleats. The printed and striped jumpsuit with plunging neckline definetely made a statement.
The collection was Amit Aggarwal’s first pre-owned patola sarees and Benaras brocades in his signature style. “This collection draws out rich heritage crafts to blend into our eclectic present” he explained in the fashion show.
Accessories like oxidised black metal necklaces, earrings and bracelets (on both hands) were seen. Also, a thin sleek golden wire was used for bracelets and necklaces.
Menswear collection included a printed green kurta with matching loafers and a black kurta with a velvet long coat. Both the looks had cropped trousers.
The makeup in both the collections was subtle with bright lip colors. The hairstyle was true to its tribal culture with front braids tied into buns or ponytails.
My favorite look from the collection is the polka dots high-low maxi dress paired with pretty waistcoat and the short grey dress with sheer sleeves. I also, loved the fringed bag with beaded handle paired with the dress.
