Tadashi Shoji disappoints in his SS19 RTW collection, which did not offer much variety! To name it, the collection had just some old styles of gowns and mini dresses and nothing else! View the Tadashi Shoji Spring Summer 2019 collection here!
Tadashi Shoji Spring Summer 2019 collection had only evening wear! Who needs just evening wear in their wardrobe? Wake up designers, we want to see a mix of outfits for our busy modern lives and not just a single occasion! The designer used galaxy as his inspiration which was charming though. In most of the outfits, we could see a star or sequin patterns in the shape of sun or moon! Even in jewelry, the theme was followed.
In the evening wear gowns, there was nothing extraordinary. The gowns were the usual knotted or slit or off shoulder ones with sequins. These are styles we’ve been spotting on the runways for three years now, which left us wanting fresh (new trends). Even just with the gowns, the collection would have been better if they were some out-of-the-box looks. Overall the collection did not impress us!
