Discover my really comfy yet trendy travel outfit. See what travel clothes I pack to keep my suitcase light!
I love, love, love traveling, and whenever I do, it’s mostly for fun (or blogging!). Vacations tend to be at least a week long, and I try to pack as light as I can – which means lots of basics and simple accessories that can create infinite options! Plus, wrinkle-free, easy-to-wash travel clothes are my favorites because I can wear them day-to-night and even wash and re-wear them if I need to.
My Travel Clothes
For my last vacation to Goa, I packed shorts, tees, capris and swimwear, of course! This outfit is from the day I had to go sightseeing with my family, which included churches, beaches, restaurants and Goa streets. So for a busy day, I picked a comfy yet trendy outfit. I wore a pair of black shorts with a garnet tank top. I added a black two-way crop-top that I wore like a vest. I accessorized with a red lip, oversized sunglasses, black glittery open-toe flats and a blue beaded bracelet, for the tropical vibe!).
Makeup
In the summers and tropics, I like to keep my makeup as minimal as possible. Here, I wore a very light-coverage liquid makeup by Estee Lauder that I have recently started using, and I loved it for travels. I just wore some black pencil eyeliner and paired it with red lipliner and bright matte red lipstick.
The Backdrop
This was a gorgeous little church I spotted right next to Baga Beach. Surrounded by countless stores in the middle of a vibrant street , it would be easily missed by the average traveler. And I can say that because I never noticed when I first visited Goa and stayed in this neighborhood for a week. The arches and protruding columns are Portuguese architectural elements that are common in Goa. Isn’t the deep cinnamon stone facade gorgeous?
