From chokers to huge dangle earrings, statement jewelry is creating waves in the fashion world. Check out the latest trends in statement jewelry for women!
The jewelry trends for 2017 are going to be bold, chic and unique. Accessories are all about making a statement these days. And to stand out, you need to try the bold and the unique. They speak of our personality and give us all a chance to experiment. Let’s take a look at the various trends in statement jewelry for women.
Statement Jewelry for Women for Spring Summer 2017
1. Drop and Dangle Statement Earrings
The #1 trend in statement jewelry for women for 2017 are long statement earrings. We have been seeing novelty earrings in many collections like Chloe, Chanel, Moschino and Giorgio Armani. Apart from the novelty shapes, we have also saw mythology inspired earrings in Dolce & Gabbana collection and pineapple earrings in Chloe. To give a cool look, in Valentino Spring Summer 2017 collection the fly shape on the outfit is matched with the shape of the earrings. Pair your perfect statement jewelry for women with both party and casual outfits.
2. Statement Bracelets
Bracelets are all over the 2017 fashion collections. We are seeing so many different types of statement bracelets. In Gucci, we saw matching bracelets on both hands and also bracelets attached to rings. Broad and sleek bracelets both are in trend this season.
3. Statement Chokers
Chokers are my favorite trend amongst statement necklaces for women. We have been seeing chokers since last season and they are not going away anytime soon! Even for 2017, many of our favorite designers like Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, etc. showcased statement chokers in different styles. From leather chokers to layered to metallic spiked ones, the options in chokers are increasing with each coming season!
4. Long Statement Necklaces
Sleek, long, navel-length chains have been replaced by broad chain-link, layered and exotic bold necklaces. Layering is the trend that will rule in the Spring Summer 2017. Broad statement chains with huge pendants were also seen on the runways.
If you don’t want to keep the neck-pieces too long, then try the collar necklace that ends on the collarbone. From large pearl to metallic, collar necklaces are one of the hottest trends in fashion jewelry for Spring 2017. I love the one by Gucci in which a berry colored collar necklace is paired with a long pearl necklace giving a perfect statement look.
6. Large Statement Studs
Forget the small rhinestone studs! Oversized statement studs are in trend this season. We have been seeing many novelty studs in the fashion weeks. So try studs that cover the whole earlobe! Go for tonal and neutral colors. In 2017, we are gonna see many pieces of novelty jewelry as is seen widely on the runways.
So, that’s all for the latest statement jewelry for women and the trends we saw from Spring Summer 2017 collections. Which trend of statement fashion jewelry are you gonna try in 2017? Do let us know in comments below.
