Hey #Slub readers! I’m super happy to share this sky blue dress look with you. It’s from my summer travel in Venice, Italy. And obviously, it was a beautiful sunny day. Traveling in Europe in the summer is all about being fashionable yet comfortable. Sky blue is very trendy this year. I’ve already posted a Spring look in a sky blue floral midi-dress. However, blue is my favorite, so I created this sky blue dress look for my travel.

Sky Blue Dress Look: Traveling in Venice, Italy

The dress I wore for this look is a chiffon pleated dress. Very lightweight and therefore great for summer travels! I accessorized this dress with a bold gold jewelry – a statement necklace, skinny belt and a spiked cuff. I also paired it with my turquoise hobo bag that I picked up from Rome and has been featured in another street style travel look of mine.
I also added tiny hints of other bright colors – fuchsia in the necklace and orange in my flip-flops so that my look doesn’t become monotonous!

I love flip-flops for summer travels, not just for beaches. They let me walk as much as I need to explore new places. They are so comfortable and liberating!

Interesting Fact: This sky blue dress look was shot on a gorgeous morning when I went shopping and sightseeing in Venice. I ended up buying a beautiful neon orange and pink asymmetric dress from one of the stores in Venice. I loved it so much that I kept it on after buying it.
