Latest Saree Blouse Trends for 2017
1. Buttonless & Crop Blouse Designs
Buttonless blouses have more of a relaxed fit and modern style. This trend is the #1 amongst this year’s latest blouse designs. They can be full, half sleeved or sleeveless. For all you beauties who love to play with trends, sexy crop blouses would be a great idea to pair with your sexy sarees. I’m in love with the sleeveless crop blouse by Manish Malhotra.
2. Strappy Bralettes
Here’s an even more daring trend – the strappy bralette blouse! This season we’re seeing these blouses wholly made with motifs and plain raw silk paired with foil printed and sheer sarees. To look trendier, add a floor touching jacket to your whole outfit.
3. Indo-Western Blouse Designs
Indo-western blouse styles are for the experimental trend lovers who wanna try something out of the box! There are many options like one sleeve, cut-outs and fringe blouses. We even saw sarees paired with crop T-shirts and long robes. All look amazing when you pair with your sarees. These are the best options for your friend’s wedding.
4. High Neck Saree Blouses
High neck blouse designs look conservative, but are amongst the trendiest in 2017! Personally, I’m loving this conservative trend amongst the latest blouse designs for 2017. They look very classy and elegant. Blouses can be sleeveless, half or full sleeve – anything you opt for! High neck designs go very well with formal sarees, and are also perfect for office parties.
5. Strapless Blouses for Sarees
Strapless blouse designs can do wonders. It’s little daring but super hot, if you’re bold enough to wear them. This season it’s time to show off those toned shoulders, because strapless blouses are one of the most stylish fashion statements. It’s a great option for your BFF’s wedding, or cousin’s sangeet.
6. Capes & Ponchos
Classy capes and ponchos are exactly what they sound like. They can be sheer or patterned and worn over bralette, strapless or sleeveless blouses. They would be a great option for weddings or formal parties.
7. Jackets
Jacket is yet another trendy fashion staple to pair with your saree. Jackets can be crop, hip length, knee length, floor touching – all look great with plain sarees. Furthermore, I’m liking the bordered sheer jacket by Anamika Khanna!
8. Sheer Sleeved Blouses
Sheer sleeves have been in trend since last season. It’s a great way to look sexy without displaying too much skin. Sheer sleeves can be full or half and of course your comfort matters. Great option to wear to weddings and parties.
9. Front Slit Blouses
If you want to give a stylish twist to an existing saree, then get yourself a trendy blouse stitched. In the latest designer collections, we’ve been seeing thigh-length front-slit blouses. If you want to add some glam, get an embellished one. Or add a few ruffles to the hem of your long slit blouse. Also, it gives an amazing look to the entire outfit. I’m liking the Rahul Mishra one!
10. Collared Shirt
We saw sarees paired with collared shirts in fashion weeks. So the best thing about this design is that it gives a very classy and sophisticated look. Also, pair long-sleeved blouses with your sarees. Most of all, if you wanna make your look more stylish, can add a collared jacket to it. Great option for any office meet or party.
11. Ruffled Blouses
Finally, ruffles are also one of the hottest saree blouse styles right now! The ruffle trend is very in right now and is great to pair with your sarees. Ruffles can be at midribs, or in the sleeves. Additionally, this is a great option for parties or wedding sangeet.
