As per the fashion description of Ralph & Russo collection for Fall 2018, “Comprised of thirty-five looks, the second Prêt-à-Porter collection explores plongé leather separates, multi-use biker jackets, and off-the-shoulder gowns; in addition to asymmetric knits and open fronted cascading bouquet skirts, which feature as key silhouettes.” With well-tailored silhouettes to chic fabrics, the collection’s color palette included white, black, blue, gold and silver!
There were also a few evening dresses that were noteworthy! One shoulder velvet cocktail dresses, 3-D metallic dresses and skirts and the fringe dresses. The classic pleated gowns remind us of the unique style of a typical Ralph & Russo collection! The overskirt with slit worn over a button-up shirt and a mini dress was surely eye-catching.
The makeup was kept simple with nude lips and eyeshadow. The hair was pulled back and tied into a bun. The accessories were minimal with mini handbags with broad straps in a few looks. Shoes included pumps, boots and booties. The show ended with a set of lovely partywear. A leather mini dress with fringes, a cropped black leather jumpsuit, which was perfect for an all-day event and a one-shoulder midi dress.
Ralph & Russo surely knows how to captivate women with their rich couture style. But with RTW collection, they are aiming to make everyday fashion not only wearable but also no less than couture in terms of the chic-factor!
