Are white sneakers out of trend in 2017? I wanna buy new white shoes, but only if they’ll still be in trend over the next couple of months?
Hi Rutika, thanks for writing in!
White Sneakers Trend in 2017
Yes, white sneakers are very much on trend this year. We’re seeing them on the runways, both in Spring Summer 2017 and Fall Winter 2017 collections of Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and Alexander Wang. We’ve also seen them in designer collections like Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo. So rest assured, the white sneakers trend is not going anywhere this year, and even the next.
In fact I’ll go as far as to say that it’s safe to invest in more than one pair – one plain all-white sneakers, and another with glitter/sequin/embellishment or embroidered patchwork detail. Those are super cool too!
We’ve also seen white sneakers on celebs like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna and Selena Gomez this year, so ya, very much still in trend.
Hope you’ll get a pair for yourself! Happy shopping!
