Discover celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld’s photography exhibition ‘Obra En Proceso| Work in Progress in Cuba on fashion, architecture and landscape.

A photography exhibition by Karl Lagerfeld called ‘Obra En Proceso| Work in Progress’ is being presented by the house of Chanel in Cuba. The exhibition is running from April 28th to May 12th 2016 at the Factoría Habana, held as part of the month of the French culture in Cuba.

The exhibition includes Karl Lagerfeld’s work on three of his interests – landscape, architecture and, of course, fashion. It constitutes more than 200 photographs by the designer, and explores diverse topics and techniques. The exhibition was inaugurated just two days before the Chanel Cruise collection 2016-17, which was also presented in Havana! Here are images from the opening:

Shilpa Ahuja a designer and entrepreneur. She is the editor-in-chief of ShilpaAhuja.com, which she founded with the goal of inspiring confidence in the modern working woman through fashion. Fashion has traditionally been for the rich, white, thin woman. That's how it evolved over centuries and that's how it's been represented in fashion media. She enjoys creative writing and world travel. Her art has been exhibited at Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Aroma Hotel, Chandigarh and been published in Chandigarh Times. Originally from Chandigarh, Shilpa also has a professional degree in architecture and has worked in interior project management. She is also the author of the book "Designing a Chinese Cultural Center in India". Shilpa has a Masters in Design Studies degree from Harvard University.
