Want some ideas for a night out outfit that’s comfy, chic and versatile? This charcoal skirt with pearl look is easy yet classy – great for dates, dinners!
When you’re in the university, social life is crazy, and time is of essence. That’s why I love day-to-night outfits that you can go to class with, and then back to the dorm, a quick change or add one accessory and a splash of lip-gloss, and then on to the evening of fun (and (sometimes romance)! So whether you’re going for a night-out with friends or meeting your classmates for a networking drinks thing or even if it’s a date-night, the classy combo of black and charcoal grey never goes out of style. And it looks great on almost everyone.
Plus this outfit is really low-budget! The black sweater, grey silk skirt and the boots – all are items I have worn many, many times because they’re super-comfy, versatile and I love them! Here, I added a touch of white with my multi-layer pearl necklace for some extra drama and perhaps, to break the monotony. Sometimes I add a dash of color, but this time, it’s just monochromes! And I love opaque tights, don’t really know why – maybe because they’re easy to pull off and they go with everything!
That’s my dorm-room from university-days – isn’t it cute?
I kept the makeup simple – no contouring and just a hint of blush. Or maybe it’s just the winter-chill! Some black smokey eye-shadow to match the outfit and light-pink lips to balance the dark eye makeup. And a hint of highlighter!
So, did you like my black winter look and night out outfit? I wore it for a dinner and drinks thingie with friends. What other night out outfits do you love to wear? And how do you wear your all black outfits? Lemme know! Comment below! 🙂
