Hey gorgeous! New Year’s eve dresses are one of the best reasons we love those parties! Whether you’re in a cruise or at the beach, in a house-party or at a fancy black-tie evening, whether you’re clinking champagne glasses or beer bottles, you wanna ring in the new year in style! As for me, I think it’s always a good idea to dress up, because when I look great, I feel great! Don’t you? So for all types of parties, here is exactly what you should be wearing on NYE!!
5 New Year’s Eve Dresses, Outfit Ideas for All Types of Parties
Low Key Party with Friends/Family: The Classic LBD
If you wanna play it safe, or really just can’t decide at the last minute, the LBD is the best thing to stick to. It’s a classic for good reason, and I love it any night of the year! For the New Year’s eve party, add some gold and red, some sparkle and some gloss! If a little black dress is getting too common in your clique, try a little red dress or a little white dress!

Dinner Date/ Party: A Cocktail Dress
If it’s gonna be a couple’s night out or a cocktail party, wear a strapless or sleeveless cocktail dress or gown. The season’s hottest colors are classic red, burgundy, black, sea blue and peach. If you wanna experiment, try asymmetric dresses or one-shoulder. Add metallic heels, a piece of statement jewelry and smokey eyes!

Formal Gala: A Cocktail Gown
If it’s a formal charity event, black-tie evening or a gala you’re going to, you can either keep it simple with an ankle-length strapless cocktail gown or you can wear a showstopper gown (just what I love!). Accessorize with a choker or a statement bracelet, gold or bronze smokey eyes with matching strappy heels and an evening clutch. Don’t forget to add red lipstick!

This is the time to wear women’s tux and there’s so many great options available! I love it formal with a casual twist a la Angelina Jolie here, with some nude lipstick and gloss, a gold and nude clutch and patent leather pumps. Add a black tie if you’re in the mood!

This season, leather statement tops and over-the-knee boots are the it-things! Add some charcoal eye shadow and a lip color and matching handbag in a contrasting color – like pink! Also add some bling or glitter in your earrings or nail polish!
