Hey beautiful! Whether it’s summer or winter sunglasses are a must have accessory. Keep your eyes protected and look trendy at same time. After having a look at all the FW17 fashion shows collections from Milan, Paris, London and New York fashion weeks, we have selected the best of the best for 2017. These will certainly become the most popular sunglasses next season. Let’s check them out!
Most Popular Sunglasses Trends for 2017
1. Oversized Sunglasses
To all those who already have these in your wardrobe – kudos! This trend is not gonna fade for seasons to come! The oversized sunglasses by Chanel are something that drew my eyes and I am desperate to try this trend. Ombre oversized is passé.
2. Rectangular Sunglasses
We have been seeing the trend of rectangular sunglasses for a couple of seasons now and are still trendy! Both broad and sleek frames in rectangular sunglasses are hot! For a statement look, try the broad white framed ones by Moschino or Dolce & Gabbana.
3. Round Sunglasses
Smart yet sophisticated trend, this one is! Round sunglasses are gaining equal popularity as rectangular ones for past few seasons. Spotted in the collections of Dolce & Gabbana, Zac Posen, Moschino, etc. this trend is gonna be a must have for 2017.
4. Printed Oversized Sunglasses
Two super trendy trends together in one accessory- how cool is that! Printed and oversized sunglasses have been a trend for a few seasons now. This season we saw them together. Both printed frames and lenses were seen on the runways in the collections of Moschino, Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana. Minimalistic prints are the trend of the season!
5. Retro Translucent Sunglasses
So 70’s! We saw this trend in some of our favorite designer collections like Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Max Mara. I loved the round brown sunglasses wore by Kendall Jenner in Fendi Fall Winter 2017 collection.
6. Embellished Sunglasses
Embellished dresses, shoes, bags and now sunglasses, too, in this list. This trend is hard to get rid of and they made their way in Fall Winter collections also. The embellished sunglasses we saw on the runways are more wearable this season. Dolce & Gabbana came up with minimalistic embellishments making them easier to pull off. Go for the embellished sunglasses by Gucci for all eyes on you!
7. Mirror Sunglasses
Mirror sunglasses have been in trend for the last couple of years and are trendy this season too, but not as much as we expected them to be! We saw them in just a couple of our favorite designer collections like Chanel and Moschino. We saw mirror with cat-eye and mirror with oversized rectangular in the Fall Winter collections.
8. Blade Sunglasses
Blade sunglasses made to list of the top sunglasses for 2017. Seen in the collections of Givenchy and Chanel, we loved combining this trend with other popular sunglasses trends, like metallic mirror blade style.
So, these are the most popular sunglasses for 2017. I am loving the printed oversized trend. Which trend are you liking and looking most forward to try? Do let us know in comments below!
