Moschino Spring Summer 2020 Collection SS20

Moschino Spring Summer 2020 Collection SS20 looks (7)Modern, abstract and surreal – that’s how one would describe Picasso’s work. For Moschino Spring Summer 2020 collection, Jeremy Scott’s inspiration and theme was the work of Picasso, and that’s how we would describe the collection, too.

The first takeaway from the fashion show was the use of bright colors, beautiful strokes and cubist, unrealistic silhouettes. One of the looks was an actual framed painting with the signature “Moschino” instead of Picasso, with the model’s head popping in the center. Another was Bella Hadid holding a guitar, channeling Girl with a Mandolin.

From Barbie-themed collection to Mc-Donald’s or traffic-sign-themed to Jackie-O-inspired, Jeremy Scott is all about appreciation of the pop culture and historic icons.

I don’t know about the others, but I definitely feel like going back and revisiting Picasso’s work after seeing this fashion show! This is how fearless fashion should be – as much as an inspiration for culture as a lesson in culture itself.
