Michael Kors Fall Winter 2017 collection at New York Fashion Week revealed the modern lifestyle and personality of a woman through the designs – fuss-free, minimalistic and confident. The collection was all about semi-formal outfits. Slit skirts, wrap dresses, fur jackets and long coats were seen.

The color palette included olive green, black, grey, khaki, fuchsia and metallic colors, prominently gold and silver. In most of the looks the sweaters were morphed into scarves (we’re calling them sweater-scarves), worn with matching gloves.

Most of the looks were monochromatic which was the highlight of the collection. Accessories like broad belts, huge earrings and bags were seen. Coats were the one of the attractive parts of the collection. Huge fur coats or fur collars were also seen.

My favorite looks from the collection were khaki colored matching set with matching velvet belt which looked sensuous and strong, too! Another look which held my eyes on was the wrap dress worn by Gigi Hadid which was cool and casual. Huge round earrings added to the beauty of the outfit.

The collection also included rugged menswear looks in a neutral palette. The menswear collection was simple and easy to adapt in day to day life. Matching sets, double breasted suits and zipped trousers were the major part of the collection.
