The similarity between women and fish, they say, is that they both love shiny things! Maybe that’s why we saw so much shimmer and glimmer in Guo Pei’s couture collection – from satin silk to fabric that looked like liquid metal, from gold thread and rhinestones in the embroidery to fine jewerly that could be nothing else but Chopard.
Fringes adorned the clutches, as ribbons made up the ankle straps of shoes, which were peep-toe platform heels to match the dresses.

Originally from Chandigarh, Shilpa also has a degree in architecture and has worked in interior project management. She is also the author of the book “Designing a Chinese Cultural Center in India”. Shilpa has a Masters in Design Studies degree from Harvard University.
