Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 collection was all about street style looks. Very casual and easy-to-wear looks were seen. As per the fashion show description, “In the very heart of Paris, in the foundations of the Royal Palace where history is palpable, Louis Vuitton has found its own special significance: travel between the past and the present forever joining together as one. The Spring-Summer 2018 collection is all about anachronisms, a dialogue of wardrobes transcending Time.”
The show started with a model wearing blue satin shorts paired with a brocade asymmetric jacket and a crop top underneath. Later, the show moved on to pantsuits, leather dresses, trousers, skirts and dresses. Metallics were prominent in the collection. I loved the metallic coats.
Accessories included micro bags, oversized bags, backpacks, blade style sunglasses and belts. Sneakers were eye catching defining the street style fashion on the runway. The hairstyle and makeup was kept simple. The no makeup makeup look was paired with naturally wavy hair.
My favorite looks from the collection included this metallic dress worn over a striped tee shirt and the sleeveless leather dress.
