Latest Wedding Gowns 2016
Wedding Dress Style #1: Long Sleeved Bridal Gowns
Long sleeves are a surprising new trend and in fact, we saw this style in nearly all major collections, and it truly is the top trend in wedding gowns for 2016! Sleeves come and go, and right now, sheer sleeves are super hot. We are also liking patterned sleeves, loose kaftan sleeves and cape sleeves.
Wedding Dress Style #2: Sheer
Sheer gowns are both romantic and alluring. A sheer gown is certainly a bold statement for a bride, but with sexy details in bodices, sleeves and floral embroidery over tulle, you’d look really stunning in a sheer gown.
Wedding Dress Style #3: OverSkirt/ Layered
Over-skirt or layered gowns are very trendy and romantic! The hottest style right now is one that is fitted till the thigh and then tapers or layers to become a full skirt. We’re also loving the flared gowns with layers that add fullness to the skirt and it looks really classy. Both asymmetric and symmetric layering are in trend in this season.
Wedding Dress Style #4: Strapless
Strapless bridal gowns are in vogue every season! Embroidered tulle, sheer, ruffled at the bottom, all look romantic and flattering .
Wedding Dress Style #5: Plunging V-Neck
Looking for something little more seductive and unique, rather than the plain ol’ strapless and sweet heart necklines? Try bridal gowns with plunging V-necks. I’m particularly liking the layered with embroidered tulle bridal gown by Marchesa.
Wedding Dress Style #6: Pants
The pant-styled wedding outfits are menswear-inspired but yet feminine and sexy! They’re the perfect choice for the non-conventional bride. I love the effortless, cool style-icon outfit by Carolina Herrera .
Wedding Dress Style #7: Thigh-High Slit
The thigh-high slit is yet another unconventional trend this season. Other than this, you can also try side cut-outs and side slits. I’m loving the eggshell colored sequin slit gown by Monique Lhuillier.
Wedding Dress Style #8: Backless
Backless is not a new trend, and in fact we even saw this trend in wedding dresses for 2015. But this timeless trend is still going very strong this year. From sheer lace back to completely backless, this trend is a sexy, romantic one!
Wedding Dress Style #9: Off-Shoulder
Feeling a little flirtatious and wanna show off your sexy shoulder? Opt for this trend. I’m liking the white floral embroidery gown designed by Zuhair Murad. So pretty!
