Hey gorgeous! Summer is here, and it’s time to update your swimwear wardrobe. I know you beauties have pool parties and beach soirées to go to this month! So I thought it’s the time to share some trends with you that we’re spotting in the designer swimsuit collections. This season, there are so many hot swimsuit trends! Some trends from last season are still in like bandage and cut-outs swimsuits. And then we’re seeing loads of cool new trends, some are sexy perfect for your beach selfies and some for everyday use!
So let’s take a look at the latest swimsuit trends for 2017 to try this year and get sexy!
Latest Swimsuit Trends for 2017
1. Cut Out Swimwear
Everywhere I look this summer, it seems like celebs, It-girls and models are fearlessly showing off their toned bodies in cut-out swimsuits. From cleavage to side-cut-outs, they’re all trendy. My favorites are the ones with large, bold cut outs.
2. Printed Swimsuits
Printed swimsuits are back in fashion! From floral to polka dots to space inspired, lots of prints are in trend. Try some fun prints to suit your personality or mood! I’m loving the Moschino one!
3. Retro & High Waist Swimsuits
If you’re not quite beach body type then retro high waist swimsuit would be a great idea! Because it provides great coverage at the hips. Pair high waist bikini bottoms with strapless bikinis or choose one piece swimsuits with high waist cut-outs. Super trendy!
4. Plunging V-Neck
If you’re bold enough to show your cleavage and abs, wear a plunging V-neck one-piece swimsuit because they are super classy, and are trendy right now! I’m loving the strapless bikini paired with the same color bikini bottom.
5. Metallic Swimsuits
From black to silver to gold, these sexy and shiny swimsuits will look great all day and night long as you swim (or rain-dance) your way through the summer. You can go for a one shoulder or plunging V-neck one piece or a bikini set. I’d love the Topshop one for myself!
6. Ruffled Swimwear
I love this style, and I’m glad it’s in. Pretty ruffles on bikinis can take a swimsuit from simple to stylish and flirty. The one by Marie Fernandez is my favorite!
7. Off-the-Shoulder Beachwear Trend
The 70’s off-shoulder cut has got the fashion world so crazy this year that every designer brand seems to be rocking the trend from dresses to tops – and now, even swimsuits! So show off those tanned shoulders and look hot and sexy! I’m loving the Victoria’s Secret one!
8. Sporty Swimsuits
I’m personally loving the sporty swimsuits this season. So 90’s, Baywatch style! My favorite one is the matching bikini set by Victoria’s Secret in navy blue.
9. Crochet Swimsuits
If there was ever a time for crochet swimsuits, it’s now. They are so trendy this season. You can have a crochet bikini and pair it with a high waist or bikini bottom, or you can choose a crochet one piece. I’m loving the Lisa Marie and Zimmermann swimsuits.
10. Color Blocking
I’m loving this style. It’s super sexy, bright and in vogue. Try neutral with bright color combos, and use color blocking to hide problem areas and show off your assets!
11. Bandage & Strappy
Bandage and strappy style is very trendy this season. Due to the risk of unevenly tanned skin, I would wear it to the pool side parties. Best option for medium to slim type bodies.
12. Sheer Beachwear
If you’re worried about your unevenly tanned skin by those cut-outs and tie ups, try sheer swimsuits to up the hotness factor. My favorite is the one by Ted Baker.
13. Stringy and Tie Up
Stringy and tie ups look so very sexy. So pair a stringy bikini top with a printed bottom or try one pieces with the tie ups or cut outs. The Forever 21 one is my favorite!
14. Stripes
Striped swimsuits are back in fashion! Try nautical inspired stripe bikinis this season. I’m loving the Dolce & Gabbana one!
