The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Palm Springs, California is one of the biggest music festivals in the US and it is, of course, the event to catch latest chic street style and boho festival fashion. Attended annually by celebrities and fashion it girls, Coachella is always full of ogle-worthy looks, sometimes wearable and sometimes preposterous! This year was no different, seeing middle eastern-inspired headpieces, body chains, tribal printed ponchos, crowns, head scarves, fringes, tan-colored bralettes, undone wavy hair and many more of the season’s latest trends.
The trend I really loved and am seeing more and more is the large silver-plated statement bib necklace. Bauble Bar calls it “This season’s statement necklace”. Very boho, elaborate, chunky and layered, these necklaces have inspirations ranging from Aztec to gothic to middle-eastern. Some have semi-precious stone insets like turquoise and lapis lazuli, and others rock just the silver-plating, sometimes combining antique finish. Designers and inexpensive online stores are selling these alike, so take your pick!
