From berry pinks to nudes to 90s lipstick colors, here are the latest lipstick shades for you to try in Spring Summer 2018!
Hey gorgeous! For the millennial woman, makeup is as much a part of the overall look as the clothes and accessories are. And how the lipstick shade goes with the makeup is an important factor. The right lipstick can give the perfect finishing touch, and even brighten up your look, making you look more polished instantly.
So here I did lots of research from SS18 fashion weeks on latest lipstick shades for this season. This year lipsticks are all about pinks, nudes, 90s shades and much more. And no matter what you prefer from unexpected brights to nudes to pinks, there is a shade for everyone. Let’s take a look!
Latest Lipstick Shades for Spring Summer 2018
1. Berry Pink Lipstick
Berry pink lip shades are very versatile and are the trendiest to wear this season. And it suits almost all skin tones. And this season we saw strawberry, berry and brownish pink in the collection of Gucci, Tibi and Alice + Olivia.
2. Candy Red
Red lips are timeless and my favorite too! In fact, if you’re planning for a romantic date night or hanging out with your friends, red lipsticks paired with bright outfits and blacks would be a great idea! And I’m loving the Chanel one!
3. Blush Pink Lipstick
We saw powder, rose and peachy pinks which I’m totally loving this season. These lipstick colors are very soft, light and look great especially during daytime. These shades can be worn as matte or glossy.
4. 90s Lipstick
Brown shades are making a major comeback this season. We saw the 90s inspired lipstick shades like scarlet, rich dark brown and nude brown on the runways of Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino. Wear to parties or night outs with shimmery eye makeup.
5. Nude Pink Lip Color
This is also my favorite and we saw this lipstick in the collections of Dior, Prada, Fendi and many more! Nude pink shade is a must for every girl who doesn’t wanna experiment too much. Nude pinks will always be perfect whether worn with just a winged eyeliner or paired with sexy eyes loaded with mascara. Wear them to casual outings and office.
6. Glossy Baby Pink Lipstick
Glossy pink is the most glam lipstick trend and also a great option for that dewy and natural effect. We saw this shade paired with nude makeup or dewy makeup with the winged eyeliner in the SS18 fashion shows of Tod’s, Prabal Gurung and Marc Jacobs. Great lipstick color to wear for all occasions like dates, brunch, parties etc.
