Hey handsome! Kurtas are one of the most traditional outfits for men. Kurtas are not new to fashion but are a total must-have. Moreover these days men are becoming more concerned about the latest fashion trends for both traditional and formal wear. So I did a lot of research on the latest variety of kurta designs, colors and styles from designer collections and fashion shows. Let’s take a look!

Latest Kurta Styles for Men for Spring 2018

1. A-Line Kurta

A-line kurtas are simple and elegant! This style has been a women’s one in the past, but for 2018, we saw many designers come up with A-line kurtas for men, too. These kurtas are fitted till the waist and loosely flow down below the knee. If you’re bored of those straight-cut normal kurtas, then try the A-line ones as they are hot! Pair them with chooridar or jeans and wear them for casual outings.

2. Asymmetric Kurta

Kurtas with asymmetric collars or edgy hemlines will instantly add a youthful touch! Swap your usual plain kurtas with these asymmetric kurtas and pair them with chooridar or skinny pants, matching jootis or shoes. Perfect for wedding sangeet.

3. Drape Style Kurtas

Women have popularly used drapes to make a style statement, but now drape kurtas are in the men’s wardrobe too. Draped kurtas are such a hot favorite trend, with dupatta like draping around the waist or shoulder! If you love to try a trendy outfit this season, this would be a great option. Try them with ankle-fitted pants or chooridar or even palazzos!

4. High Neck Kurtas

High neck and Chinese collar kurtas never really went out of fashion. From plain to printed, all are in! These kurtas give a classy and sophisticated look. Pair them with matching or contrasting chooridar or patiala pants, jootis or shoes.

5. Kurtas with Jacket

To give your traditional look a royal and formal touch, just add a jacket to it! Jacket kurtas are one of the most versatile pieces of clothing in any man’s wardrobe. And they’re becoming more popular these days. Kurtas can be paired with long or short, buttoned or unbuttoned jacket. Team them with same or contrasting chooridar or loose pants. Perfect for occasions like friend’s weddings or festival get-togethers.

6. Metallic Kurtas

These kurtas are super trendy this season in colors like silver, brass, copper or pale gold. These kurtas can be short or long, and add an amazing look to the entire outfit. Pair matching or contrast color chooridar or ankle-fitted pants with the kurtas. I’m loving the Tarun Tahiliani one!

7. Shirt-Style Kurta

We saw kurtas with shirt-like cuffed sleeves or even button-down kurtas. The best thing about this trend is that it gives a sophisticated look to the whole outfit. Pair with jeans or trousers. Great option to wear to any office or party or family meet. Or impress your girlfriend’s parents in this!

8. Short Kurtas

Short kurtas are not exactly a new trend but they’re still in! Infact, they’re one of the most preferred options for their effortless style and ease of carrying. Pair them with chooridar pants or jeans.
