Hey gorgeous! When the festive season comes, the wardrobes start getting a little more stylish. Suits and salwar kameez are such an attire that every Indian women finds them as a great option for special occasions! This season we saw many interesting styles in the fashion shows of Lakme Fashion Week and Amazon Fashion Week 2017. And I did a little research on latest designer suits with upcoming classy styles. So let’s take a sneak peak at the hottest designer suit styles and salwar kameez trends for 2017!
Latest Designer Suit Styles for 2017
1. Long Tunics
Tunics keep evolving from long to short and then back again! This season we saw long tunics or kameez making a trendy fashion statement. Pair them with chooridar pants and a dupatta. I’m in love with the cream colored floor touching suit with a dupatta on one shoulder designed by Manish Malhotra.
2. Suits with Unique Pant Styles
Unique pants can surely be eye-catching. For 2017, we are seeing crop chooridars, asymmetric hem lines and dhoti pants. I’m adoring the red floor-touching suit paired with crop pants and dupatta by Amoh by Jade.
3. Palazzo Suit Design
Trends may come and go, but some keep coming back (or never go away). Palazzos are one such trend – be it celebrity outfits or fashion shows! We saw palazzos ruling the runways for 2017, paired with collared, slit, long tops and dupattas.
4. Suits with Belts
Belts make it easier for fashionistas to look slim and they also make a statement. Go for metallic, velvet or embellished belts on your suits to make your look outstanding!
5. Asymmetric Suit Designs
Asymmetric hems are one of the most flattering silhouettes in trend these days. Asymmetric top or kurta can be paired with loose pants or palazzos with a dupatta around it. I’m loving the Neeta Lulla one!
6. Collared Suits
A buttoned high collared suit especially one with front slit looks extremely elegant and classy. Collared top or kurta can be paired with palazzos, loose pants or chooridars with dupatta around it. Wear this design to weddings and parties. I’m just loving the Anju Modi one!
7. Short Suits
Short kurtis are one of the most preferred options for their effortless style and ease of carrying. Pair it with dhoti, loose or chooridar pants with a dupatta. I’m liking the Amoh by Jade one!
8. Suits with Front Slits
I love the concept of front slit salwar kameez trend. For an even sexier look, take the slit higher up to the ribs and pair with palazzos or crop pants.
9. Suits with Jackets
Suits with jackets are very much vogue this season. Embroidered, ruffled, foil printed jackets paired with palazzos or chooridar pants look beautiful. Jackets give a stylish look to the whole attire.
