With plain and simple with embroidery here and there. It was more like a indo western wear which was wearable and any one could pull it off. The collection had tones of maroon, black, navy blue and white.
The fabric was light – mostly cotton. The short sleeved kurtas looked cool and were paired right with chooridar pants. The waistcoat blended well with the overall look. Sneakers, monks and loafers were seen. I loved the pairing of sneakers with kurta, which guys can easily take from Kunal Rawal menswear runway to the streets.
Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor were the showstoppers owing to the youth factor. I loved the white kurta on Varun Dhawan with threadwork embroidered sleeves. It’s perfect both for festive and casual wear too! However, I would love this collection more if it had trendy elements in it such as embroidered patchwork and asymmetric details.
Velvet sneakers and loafers would have given a new definition to the collection. Overall, a cool, wearable collection that gets thumbs-up from me but in terms of imagination and uniqueness, it leaves a lot to be desired.
