Hey gorgeous! Jeans are an essential in every girl’s wardrobe as they are perfect for cool casual wear (and for other occasions, too)! And sure enough, we all have many pairs of jeans (and different types) in our wardrobes. But we still have to keep updating our jeans collections because trends come and go. So let’s look into this year’s list of jeans trends to know what’s in and what’s out.
We went through all the designer collections of Fall Winter 2017 to predict the upcoming jeans fashion for 2017. Let’s check ’em out!
Jeans Fashion for 2017
1. Cropped Jeans
Cropped jeans are the only style of jeans you should be seen in this year!! Long jeans are passe! They are cropped slightly above the ankle or a little higher and are well fitted. Cropped jeans work well with long, short or even a crop top.

2. Folded Hems
Folded hems are another alternative for cropped jeans. We saw plain, patchwork and ripped jeans in this trend.
3. Ripped Jeans
Ripped jeans is not a new trend. In the FW17 runway collections, we saw smaller, subtler rips on jeans. If you want to make a statement, then try the embellished ripped jeans by Dolce & Gabbana.
4. Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans are perfect to keep it warm in winter. We saw them being paired with crop tops, jackets or bodysuits. I loved the cropped skinny jeans by Versus Versace.
5. Embellished Jeans
Try embellished jeans this season for the party-ready look. Of course, you can wear them casually, too! We’re seeing pearl, sequin and rhinestone embellishments. We saw button shaped embellishments in a look by Dolce & Gabbana. If you want a lighter look then go for the look by Isabel Marant.

6. Relaxed Fit Jeans
Relaxed fit jeans are comfortable and stylish, too! The jeans were straight cut, cropped or had folded hems. I loved the relaxed fit jeans with folded hems by Dior.
7. High Waist
High waist jeans are back this season. But most of them were well-fitted. The look by Isabel Marant was baggy. I loved the look by Maison Margiela – perfect for any occasion.
8. Patchwork Jeans
The patchwork trend is super hot this season and we saw different styles of patchwork on jeans. We loved the graffiti patchwork jeans by Dolce & Gabbana.
9. Flared Jeans
Flared jeans give a vintage feel to your outfit. And yes, they are super-trendy this year. We saw them in Coach, Dior and Burberry FW17 collections.
