No matter how special an event in a girl’s life, nothing ever compares to the excitement that comes with shopping for honeymoon! Here are the most romantic honeymoon dresses, makeup and the sexiest lingerie ideas!
Honeymoon is that time when you want to look your best, whether you are going for a morning stroll, a nature admiration trip, a date dinner or a goodnight sleep. And sure, the love and happiness will give your face “the glow”, you wanna choose the most romantic and sexiest (wink!) honeymoon dresses. And makeup. And accessories. And yes, we did not forget lingerie! We have already done an article on honeymoon clothing, so check it out here: The Ultimate Honeymoon Packing List | What to Pack for Your Honeymoon.
And now we wanna go a step further and pick out what EXACTLY to wear on your honeymoon! So here is a list of honeymoon dresses and everything you’ll need there!
Romantic day dresses and flared skirts are the best options for sightseeing. If you’re going to be hanging out at the beach, try backless maxi dresses. Add a peasant top with shorts in the mix for walking/hiking. Try lace, strapless or off-shoulder dresses for adding romance! And if you’re gonna be out on a date to something formal like a dinner or opera, etc. then carry a formal dress!

Carry the basics – eyeliner, compact, concealer, blush, mascara, at least one natural pink lipstick, and perhaps some red! I love to carry a nude and a red nail polish because they go with all outfits! Add shimmery eye shadow palette, perhaps in bronze, coppers and beiges because they’re easy to create different looks with. For a monochromatic look, wear a designer copper metallic dress and match it with copper eye shadow. Also add some nail polish remover and definitely a good makeup remover and wipes.
Bags and Belts
I love to carry a large handbag for air-travel, and one small shoulder/cross-body bag for the everyday trips. Make sure you choose something that goes with most your outfits. If you’re gonna be out on a date night, carry a clutch. And match your belts to your dresses, wherever necessary!

At least one pair of flats that you can wear everyday for walking, and maybe a cozy slipper for those romantic sleep-ins and late breakfasts! If you wanna pack light, skip carrying too many flats. But if you love heels, do carry wedges because they’re super comfy and great for warm honeymoon-ey destinations!

Travel outfit should be comfortable – I love jeans and tops. So try to find a cute top because those first-day-of-honeymoon pictures are worth a million bucks! Your travel bag should obviously, match your travel outfit, but choose something that’s comfy to carry around. Add a hand cream and some wipes in it!
