Discover my ripped jeans outfit for summer, styled with nude bodysuit and spring-makeup. Shot in a vacation home, I styled this look with an unusual accessory.
Hey gorgeous! Spring and summer are the perfect time to style ripped jeans. And my latest obsession are embellished ripped jeans, which can elevate a street style look from casual to glam. I’ve featured this look on two of our magazine covers.
We shot this photo-shoot in a vacation home at Auroville, near Pondicherry. It’s a beautiful place with bamboos, a lotus pond, lots of trees, butterflies.
Ripped Jeans Outfit for Summer
There are countless ways to wear ripped jeans, but to make its embellishments stand out, I paired it with a nude-colored bodysuit. I love colors, so neutrals are something I experiment with very less. But I do love wearing neutrals from time to time. This nude bodysuit is one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe, and it’s great to pair it with jeans, palazzos and skirts, too, or wear it under a crop top.
I accessorized the look with matching nude-colored strappy stilettos, a studded choker, a rose-gold cuff bracelet, rose gold pearl earrings and mirror sunglasses. Loads of rose gold accessories played into the nude color scheme, and matched the embellishments on my jeans. I also added a nude belt.
This look is all about the tiara. This hair accessory is reserved for weddings and engagements. Very bridal. But add it to your street style look, and you’re princess for a day! It’s a very unusual accessory to add to street style looks, and that’s what gives it this unexpected twist, and adds to the stare factor of the nude top.
The makeup is very natural, feminine and spring-inspired. Eyes are the main focus of my makeup look – which I lined with a white eyeliner to make them seem bigger. I added blush pink eyeshadow and lipstick. In fact, there’s no lipstick – just lip liner and lip balm. I also used loads of mascara and winged eyeliner to play up the eyes. I finished the look with blush and eyebrow pencil. It’s more of a matte look with watercolor-inspired blush that translucently flows into different shades all over the face, giving a healthy youthful glow.
Also looks good without the tiara!
