Fashion Blogger Meme: What People Think I Do vs. What I Actually Do

Hilarious fashion blogger meme – people’s perception of this job is far from truth! If you’re a fashion blogger or have a friend, you’ll totally relate! Wanna be a fashion blogger? This is what it’s going to be like!!

So many of these memes have been floating around for all sorts of professions, so I thought why don’t I make one for fashion bloggers! A fashion blogger meme!! Whether you’re a fashion blogger yourself or have a friend or relative who’s one, you’ll totally relate to this. So without much ado, here it is:

And while I do write a lifestyle blog that focuses on things that make an overall personality like culture, food, travel, etc., a large part of my blog is about fashion, hence this meme!!

I had so much fun making this, and out of all the people I have mentioned here, I think mom has the best view of what we all do: she probably thinks all we do and want to do is just take lots of selfies and post them online. And dad just thinks it’s my little doll having a ‘hobby’ so I’ll let her play with her little makeup and clothes!! Aww! And the relatives, uh well, some of them always have an exaggerated and distorted view of everything, so they probably think I get photoshoots done like a Victoria’s Secret model (which ain’t even possible ‘cuz I ain’t got no booty like dat).

Anyway, hope you liked this fashion blogger meme and can relate to it. Lemme know what the people around you think of your being a fashion blogger. Comment below! :o)

  1. I’m impressed by your writing. Are you a professional or just very knowledgeable?

  3. This is brilliant haha! Really well put together as well. People do tend to think that we just get sent free stuff and play dress up and have a great time and get invited to glam events. When it’s more like lots of planning, bribing someone to photograph you, trying to direct the person who’s photographing you (ignoring if the weather is really cold because you promised the post would be live already) all while trying to look ‘natural’ in the photo’s, then editing pics, writing and then editing that and adding all of the links and social media shares – phew!
