Dressing up for travel days is fun. With all the looking forward to the leisurely times, and the weekend fashion, bright colors, what’s not to love! On my recent trip to Australia, I kept my wardrobe comfortable and light-weight. Such as this outfit that I wore on my train journey to Kuranda, near Cairns, Queensland, Australia. I mixed both high-end and low-end international and local brands to create this outfit.
Basically I wanted create an outfit around my Jimmy Choo cross-body bag and co-ordinate it with my dress. So the idea was throw in all shades of blues and turquoises and make hot pink pop on that! I chose a light mint-green maxi-dress and paired it with mixed-colored accessories for adding interest – layered hot pink and blue bracelets, white necklace, and a sky blue pair of wedge heels. I also added a pair of retro turquoise sunglasses, hot pink nailpaint, and a large blue agate ring. To put it all together, I wore matching makeup – eyeshadow with pink and blue blended together, and pink lipgloss.
This outfit is featured in my latest music video ‘On my Own’ that is shot all over Queensland, Australia. If you haven’t watched that yet, go to Traveling in Cairns, Australia – On My Own | The Music Video
