“Do you believe in Santa Claus?” I asked someone wise once. “Yes,” he replied. “Santa represents hope. I believe in hope.”
But who needs Santa when you can buy your own presents? The independent woman really can’t rely on a man for presents in this day and age. There are husbands who forget anniversaries and dates who ghost you before you even get a chance to tell them your birthdays! We earn and we like to split the check. We know what we want and we like to get it. Or create it.
So what do you wish for Christmas? Happiness? Success? Peace? Whatever it is, I’m sure the strength within you can really create it. In the meanwhile, there’s always a day at the mall for some retail therapy!
