Hey gorgeous! The Golden Globe Awards 2016 took yesterday and while we were all excited to know who won what, we were even more interested to see who WORE what! And while Brie Larson may have won the Best Performance by an Actress award, there were ladies who wore way more swoon-worthy gowns, and that’s what I’m writing about today!!
So here they are:
15 Top Red Carpet Dresses from Golden Globes 2016
I absolutely adored Jennifer Lawrence in this cut-out red gown by Dior that looked nearly like a crop top with a skirt! And the necklace is gorgeous, too!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked hot like always in her custom-made Atelier Versace gown. Loved how her hair matches the pale-gold strappy shimmer gown.
Here’s Kate Hudson in a rose-gold two-piece Michael Kors dress with an ab-showing bandeau top and a skirt with matching box-clutch and choker.
Lily James wore a sexy white tulle Marchesa gown that was a cross between a Greek goddess-like outfit and a bride. Love the ombre hair and the beautiful dreamy gown!
This Dolce & Gabbana gown with ombre sequin work is really feminine and princess-ey on Kate Bosworth:
Olivia Palermo wore a strapless dress by Delpozo – with bold-organic pattern in an almost color-blocking type of way. And the clashing magenta lipstick with a red and green-grey dress is an interesting, bold choice!
Rooney Mara wore a nude plunging-neck dress with ruffle and bead appliqué by Alexander McQueen:
Eva Green wore a pale-gold trail gown with tone-on-tone embroidery. And red lipstick!
Here’s Kristen Dunst in a black velvet Valentino gown.
Here’s Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum. She wore a plunging neck navy gown with silver embroidery:
Julianne Moore wore a midnight blue sequin gown:
Lady Gaga, the queen of disguising outfits looks all different, yet again, in a custom-made Atelier Versace gown. Black velvet with off-shoulder sleeves, the gown has an exaggerated waist silhouette that gives the illusion of a mermaid, almost – very retro with that hair!
Jennifer Lopez may have inspired many a mustard-sauce related memes, but the yellow cape gown by Giambattista Valli, with silver clutch, stilettos and knot necklace is a bold and sexy choice!
Saoirse Ronan wore a white gown by Saint Laurent.
Alicia Vikander wore a striped Louis Vuitton dress in white.
So, did you like these celebrity red carpet dresses? Which gown was your favorite? Lemme know below! Until next time, ta! 🙂
