Clare Weight Keller unveiled the Givenchy Spring Summer 2018 ready-to-wear collection for both men and women. The collection had both casual and party wear. And we also saw formal looks for men! The show was opened by model Alberte Mortensen wearing a double brass-buttoned coat dress with a fanny pack. It was followed by dresses with different sizes of clover prints. We saw strong shoulder dresses, graphic patterns and leather jackets. The clover is interesting, sure, but high fashion with belts that guests usually expect from the Givenchy show? Not sure!
But yes, the accessories made the show interesting. There were handbags, season’s latest fanny packs, and pointy-toe knee-high boots that look cool and classy no matter what you pair them with! The show had 68 looks, which is becoming the norm these days. The last 5 models ended it with little black dresses for evenings. The color palette included black, navy blue, ink blue, white, red and mint.
My favorite looks from the collection were a one-sided ruffle sleeved little black dress and clover printed breezy dress paired with black pointy-toe high heels.
