giorgio-armani-spring-summer-2018-rtw-ss18-collection (1)-striped-coatGiorgio Armani Spring 2018 collection was full of artsy prints! The show started with a model wearing a black dress paired with striped coat and floral slit skirt. The black dress look was seen in the next set of looks. We saw asymmetric dresses and sheer panels. Layering is a good idea for spring but what about the hot summers?! Give us something airy, Armani!

As per the fashion show description, “In this collection, the power of artistic gesture – free, expressive and instinctive – meets the sophisticated, linear elegance of the Armani language. Brilliant hues, crisp cuts, graphic lines and balanced asymmetries combine to create a spirit of moderation and simplicity. Key pieces include small jackets, short dresses with sloping hemlines, weightless dusters and luminous pleated skirts. These come together in striking pairings that possess strong personality.”

Beautiful floral motifs and graphic prints were the highlights of the collection. Also, a patchwork dress with black underlays was eye-catching! An Armani collection without suits would be impossible. We saw sexy grey color pant suits in a few looks. Sheer was also prominent in the collection.

Accessories included novelty bags, micro bags, clutches, oversized bags, hats, round sunglasses, statement jewelry and sheer panel booties. The makeup was edgy and colorful with bold eyeliner, glossy lips and highlights in the inner corner of the eyes and on cheeks. The bob hairstyle was chic!

My favorite looks from the collection were this graphic print cropped trousers paired with floral motif jacket. And the slit top paired with shorts!
