Fendi Spring Summer 2017 RTW collection was all about quirky combinations which relate to modern tastes. Pajama stripes were paired with mirror sunglasses, sheer skirts with sock-lookalike booties, and lady-like vintage pattern with youthful hair accessories.
The fashion show description says that the latest collection “overflows with Rococo opulence”, and it picks up right where Fendi Fall 2016 Couture “legends and fairytales fashion show left off”.
Influential models like Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid and her sister and show opener Bella Hadid graced the runway with the glitter lips, cat-eyes and youthful hair accessories.
The silhouettes included mini-dresses, culottes paired with sporty knitted sock booties. Sheer silk skirts paired with jackets and floral bodysuits were also seen. On the other hand, striped tops that showed ample underboob were paired with shorts, maxis and crop pants.
The collection redefined night wear – suits and day-dresses used pajama fabrics. Skirts and mini-dresses used silk Victorian’s secret like stripes. Night-dresses were worn over full-sleeves shirts. The color palette included French garden floral colors – shimmery gold, pretty pastels like petal pink and powder blue, black, white and deep blues.
My favorite look in the collection was the bralette paired with crop pants and striped shirt. Another interesting one was with a bralette paired with a midi-skirt. So sexy!
