As per the fashion show description, “Celebrating nature‚Äôs botanic masterpiece, the Amazon, the season takes its cues from the dense rainforest and its living creatures. A vivid vegetal print acts as a statement throughout, with leafy graphics animating pieces. Like a living, breathing forest in motion, the collection boasts a coming together of light, fluid-like materials, all layered in perfect unison.”

The show started with a patterned mini dress paired with a matching scarf and a crossbody bag. It gradually moved on to dresses with fringes. There were fringed skirts and tops. The color palette indeed reminded us of the lush forests, including green, white, red, yellow, sky blue and black. Tropical prints and patterns made a statement.

Jumpsuits were prominent in the collection. The classic Elie Saab gowns were gorgeous as always. But this season we saw a variety in the collection. From jumpsuits to maxi dresses to pantsuits, they were all gorgeous. Accessories included statement finger rings, bracelets, layered necklaces, fringed earrings, box bags, rectangular sunglasses, hats and belts.

A refreshing collection for spring, unlike the couture style gowns from the house we saw in their last show!
