There are some unique sexy women’s shoes a few trends that are still in from the past seasons. These trendy shoes include men’s inspired, chunky heels, fringed, feathers, fur and cute boots for women with lace. But for 2018, we’re seeing a variety of new styles pretty shoes… Ok! I won’t overdo with the adjectives here. Let’s dive into latest fashion shoes for 2018!
1. Skinny Slouchy Boots
Slouchy boots were trendy last season, too. But this year they have a new avatar. We’re seeing skinny or tight slouchy boots. If you prefer a more structured look, well, these unique shoes for women will be perfect for you! They have the comforty vibe but are also skinny to define your style. Pair these latest shoes with coat dresses to stand out!
2. Shoes with Cut-Outs
Forget peep-toe and say hello to cut-outs! Cut-outs in shoes are definitely the biggest new trend in 2018! From small to large cut-outs, every style is so unique. Pumps with ankle cutouts are very sexy. Or try a large cut–out in the front or side of the shoe between toes and ankle. I loved Dsquared 2 high top flats with cut-outs. Don these types of shoes with your casual wear.
3. Statement Socks
Socks are in the limelight. We saw sock sandals – plenty of them. A perfect way to accessorize shoes in the fall-winter season. We saw fishnet, metallic, sheer, printed, lace, wool and embellished socks. These socks were paired to create a statement with trendy sandals.
4. Printed Boots
Plain black or brown boots are passé! Go for printed boots this year. Match them with your outfits or wear bold printed ones with your plain outfits to create a statement. Stylish boots for women include animal prints, floral, checkered and organic patterns.
5. Multicolored Sneakers
The ever-trendy white sneakers are out! The super comfy sneakers are no more plain and boring. Haha, no more cleaning or whitewashing your shoes. 😉 Sneakers in 2018 are bright and colorful. Who wouldn’t love to sport them in the gloomy weather? New women’s shoes included bright colors like blue, neons and metallics along with bold embellishments.
6. Lace Boots
Lace is certainly the go-to fabric this year. We saw lace details in dress style trends, too! Lace boots are certainly one of the best trending shoes this year. These cool shoes for women were combined with other trends, too, like fur trimmings, PVC and embellishments.
7. Holographic Shoes
This trend is a throwback to 90s. Holographic fashion is getting the right attention. From sneakers to thigh high boots, the trendy women’s shoes were super-hot! In fact, I would love to see holographic shoes in style for the coming seasons, too! Pair them with holographic jackets to create retro-style party outfits.
So, here we are again with transparent fashion. This fall, designers are back with plexi in an experimental way. Like we saw cut outs, embellishments, mixed media and fur trimmings in clear boots and pumps I doubt the comfort but 2018 is the year of experimenting, so go ahead and try them. These cute shoes for girls go well for coffee dates!
9. Statement Ankle Strap
Plain ankle straps are out. Statement straps are in. This season we’re seeing unique styles in them. Create a statement with ankle straps. We saw large buckles, studs, embellishments, mixed media and many more designs. In fact, a look by Balmain had mixed media ankle strap with appliqué.
10. Angular Heels
Angular heels are still in! We saw them in the Spring 2018 collections and they are still as trendy as ever. We saw a variety of them like sock boots, peep toes, appliqué style sandals, leather, animal print and pumps with angular heels. Some flare out at the bottom and some just stick to the heel at an angle. Very futuristic!
11. Novelty Heels
Novelty heels are back! Yay! Time to customize your heels, eh?! So we saw embellished pointy heels, chain link, cartoon character shaped heels and many more. Just like angular heels, this shoe style is eye-catching!
12. Silver Metallics
The shoe trend that never fades out – metallic shoes are still in! And we are sorted with our party shoes. Well, this year it’s gonna be silver metallics. All shades of silver from pale to pewter are in. Try embellished and sequined shoes to stand out!
It was a tough competition between velvet and satin shoes in Fall 2018 shoe trends. With our scoring system, velvet gained an extra point and entered the latest fashion shoes.
