Fall Fashion Colors for 2017
1. Gingerbread
2. White on White
This fall color trend is very chic and understated – just the way I like it! Way too many designers opted for this color combination for fall 2017, including Chanel, Altuzzara, Monse and Burberry. They’ve all mostly been paired with black accessories for a bold contrast. Try this autumn color trend by layering your outfits. It would also work great for formal wear.
3. Plum
Plum is another one of the all-time popular fall fashion colors. Since it’s quite a rich color, it overpowers any color it’s paired with and when it comes to an all over plum outfit, it makes you look like royalty! So, it’s basically a win-win situation going on with this fall color. You just can’t ever go wrong with it! Donatella Versace clearly loves this fall fashion color ’cause there were lots of berry toned looks on the Versus runway. Others included Michael Kors and Altuzzara.
4. Blush Pink
Pale pinks are making a comeback this season. Sweaters in this color would look absolutely adorable. Another pro for this color is that it would suit pretty much any skin tone. However on the runways, they were only seen on dresses and gowns in the RTW collections of Christopher Kane, Prada and Gucci.
5. Neon
Apparently, not all fall fashion colors need to be warm and dark. Striking, fluorescent colors have been proven to be very in this fall season. It’s a great way to add a pop of color to all your warm toned fall fashion outfits. There were all sorts of neon shades spotted on the runways of Christopher Kane, Versace and Dolce and Gabbana.
6. Cherry Red
Cherry red is the red to opt for this fall! This luscious color is very versatile. It would look amazing on everything from clothing and accessories to nails and makeup. Bold, sexy and daring all at the same time, it’s definitely an eye-catcher. This Fall/Winter 2017-18 color would be great during the wintry Christmas season as well. We saw this gorgeous shade on the runways of Gucci, Christopher Kane, ChloĂ© and Altuzarra.
7. Silver
This stunning autumnal color has the ability to dress up and enliven any outfit. Metallic leggings are an ideal way to rock this 2017 fall color trend. Apart from silver, other metallics such as copper, bronze, gold and emerald ruled the runways as well. This color would also be a good idea for night-outs and parties. It was spotted on the runways of Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Christopher Kane and Carolina Herrera.
8. Sunny Yellows
Yes, you read that right! Bright shades of yellow are clearly very in this fall despite being such a summery color. But I’m not complaining – we all need a little bit of sunshine during the gloomy season anyway! Designers such as Altuzzara, Monique Lhuillier, Dolce and Gabbana and Monse went for this unexpected and unusual color for fall fashion.
9. Pastels
Pastels are always in irrespective of what season or year it is. It’s one of those colors that look good on anyone and anything. We saw all kinds of pastels such as peach, powder pink, beige, pale yellow, lavender and lilac. Alberta Ferretti, Christopher Kane, Gucci and ChloĂ© were amongst the designers that went for pretty pastel looks.
