Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. To kickstart your day, you wanna eat something healthy, but filling too, unlike the lunch or evening snacks. With the busy schedules, having a healthy meal becomes merely an impossible task. So, skipping breakfast is not a great idea.
While I’m lecturing you about the importance of a healthy breakfast, let me tell you, I myself have been the laziest person ever. I used to skip my morning meal and overeat for lunch. Um, actually lunch plus junk. Then the result was my tummy fat. Sigh! *regret face*
But lately, I have started indulging in a healthy lifestyle. During this journey, I have realized the importance of healthy morning breakfast. After 8 hours of sleep, you need the energy to refuel your body. So, having a protein rich breakfast is very important.
Healthy food doesn’t need to be boring, bland or time consuming! So, here are top 30 easy morning breakfast ideas on my menu on the days I have to rush to office. I rounded it off to 30 so you can have different morning meal the entire month! Wow! I’m making your mornings magical. Ain’t I?! I have included vegetarian and some egg recipes as I’m an ‘egg’etarian! This can be your complete go-to breakfast guide for those lazy mornings.
Easy Morning Breakfast Ideas
1. Scrambled Eggs with Toast
A timeless favorite breakfast recipe of mine, especially on Monday mornings. Eggs are filled with proteins and vitamins and make you fuller. Have it with toast or whole wheat bread.
2. Corn Flakes or Muesli with Milk and Fruits
When you’re running late, corn flakes and milk are a savior. Have it with your favorite fruit for a fulfilling hearty meal.
3. Banana Pancakes with Maple Syrup
Pancakes make a perfect easy morning breakfast. Banana pancakes are more filling and add fluffiness. Top it with maple syrup and your favorite fruit.

4. Roasted Veggies Sandwich
Veggies for breakfast? Yes, please! If you have leftover veggies from the last night. Sautée them and use as a filling for your sandwich. It’s filling and you won’t deal with the 11 AM hunger pangs! It’d work perfectly if you had a light dinner the night before.
5. Sprouts Sandwich
Sprouts are filled with proteins and provide enough energy to sustain until the next meal. Have them as a salad by mixing different types of sprouts with pomegranate seeds or use them as a filling for your cheese sandwich. Combine it with a yummy cup of English breakfast tea to brighten your day.

The traditional bruschetta is consists of Italian bread topped tomatoes with a dash of olive oil and basil or olive seasoning. Also, this is Shilpa’s favorite breakfast as it’s simple and requires just five minutes to prep up.
13. Mashed Potato with Bread and Jam
Mashed potatoes are filling and a healthy choice for breakfast. Boil the potatoes the previous night to save time. Have it with bread and jam for a complete meal.
14. Tofu Sandwich and Half Boiled Egg
Tofu for breakfast is mouth watering. It’s filled with protein, iron and calcium. Slice tofu into cubes and marinate with yogurt and other dry spice powders of your choice. Use it as filling for the sandwich or have it as a salad by adding bell peppers and cherry tomatoes with hummus for a protein-rich breakfast.

Boiled eggs are healthier, appetizing and take least preparation time. Sprinkle salt and pepper to treat your taste buds. Have ’em with a cup of cappuccino!

Sprouts are full of vitamins, proteins and antioxidants. If you’re health conscious, then this is the best choice for breakfast. Have it as a soup by boiling in water or as a salad by adding flax seeds and cherry tomatoes.
19. Flavored Yogurt
Flavored yogurt is tasty and easiest breakfast-on-the-go idea. You can refrigerate the yogurt and use it for a week or so. Add freshly chopped fruits to the yogurt like strawberry, banana or mango. Or even whisk ’em together.

So, frozen breakfasts are perfect for me. Have it with dry fruit milkshake or your favorite smoothie.

Soak chia seeds in milk and top them with peanut butter and banana. I usually use a mason jar and the yummiest pudding is perfect for the weekend breakfast! When you don’t wanna get out of the bed but still can’t starve, go for this healthiest pudding.

Slice zucchini and add onion, garlic and sautée in a pan. Top two slices of whole wheat bread with it. Or try an open zucchini sandwich by topping bread with zucchini slices, and cheese with garlic and herbs and grilling for 2-3 minutes!

Croissants make easy morning breakfast. Have them with berries or nutella and a cup of coffee. A perfect meal to start your weekend!
