There’s a lot of unique elements and details to this collection. The first being the words “We always felt we were a little different” printed on bags, shoes and clothes. I just loved the saying and the quirkiness of it. Apart from that there were rose patch applique, silver neck pieces, Dior lapel pins and bead work.
The super cool backpacks and duffel bags from Dior Homme Spring 2018 are another thing I loved. All black and minimal, they really tied in the looks. My favorite, however, has got to be the black suit paired with a white round neck tee. And no, it’s not just any normal suit. It’s got bead work and applique! But even with all the embellishments, it looks sophisticated and polished.
And now moving on to the best part of Dior Homme Spring 2018 – the Robert Pattinson ad campaign! This absolutely divine series of black and white photos was captured by Karl Lagerfeld. Robert looked extremely ravishing sporting some of my favorite looks from the collection. The pictures were shot against a backdrop of rough walls of an artist’s studio in Paris. The open windows revealed a view of the beautiful city as a very sexy and suave Robert posed in front of it. The set and the timeless looks aimed to reflect “a sense of past, present and future”, and also tied into the quirky artist theme.
