Leather is perfect for the fall season. Leather midi skirts made waves in the Fall/ Winter 2017 runway collections. Almost all the major designers made a case for leather skirts, from Fendi to Michael Kors to Versus Versace. We saw pleated, high low, slit and two tone leather skirts. They were paired with sheer tops, one sleeved tops, button up shirts, poncho cape tops and fur cropped tops in latest skirt trends for 2017. I loved the red leather midi skirt by Fendi.

Skirts with front slits are ruling the runway this fall. From Chanel to Prada to Versus Versace, many designers created cool, casual and formal looks with front slit skirts in fashion trends for 2017. Pleated skirts are still trendy as ever. We saw box pleats in the collections of Chanel, Fendi and Givenchy. We also saw inverted pleats in the collections of Mulberry and Carolina Herrera. These pleated midi skirts go well for parties, casual outings and date nights. Try to experiment with your pleated skirts in fashion trends for 2017 by pairing them with a pleated top or a long slit top like the looks in Mulberry and Fendi.
