From glittery lips to statement eyeshadows, the fashion makeup looks were stunning in Spring Summer 2019 collections. Check out the beauty trends and best hairstyles straight from the runway here!
Fashion Makeup Looks and Hairstyles
1. Valentino
In most of the looks, models had minimal makeup with blush on cheeks and lip balm on lips. A few looks that caught everyone’s eyes were the crystal lips and eyes in bold colors. Crystals were placed on the upper and lower lash lines that extended towards the outer corners of the eye in a rounded wing shape. The crystal color in a few looks matched the outfits. Looked so party-ready!
The best part was that the bold crystal look was either at the eyes or the lips but not on both of them. This made the overall look fuss-free! One of the best fashion makeup looks, indeed!
Hair was center-parted, let down and tucked behind the ears. Oversized hats with feathers added a summery feel.
2. Dolce & Gabbana
As the Dolce & Gabbana collection has so much to portray in the looks, the makeup is always kept classy. Red lips, winged eyeliner and some blush on cheeks – that’s it! Talking about hairstyles, from dreadlocks to curls to center-parted to slightly wavy we could see many hairstyle trends in Dolce’s SS19 collection.
3. Anna Sui
Now, this is what we call a vibrant summery look. With orange, yellow and pink colors spreading from the cheekbones to the temples and forehead, this look will definitely make heads turn. The look is bold and unwearable IRL, but the color combination can be wearable if toned down a notch. The retro hairstyle added on to the overall look. A combination of top knot and loose hair!
4. Fendi
The hair and makeup in Fendi Spring Summer 2019 collection were quite refreshing. The makeup look consisted of glossy lips and lightweight foundation, with under-eye circles peaking from underneath – a realistic look! Even the brows were not trimmed and the look was kept more on the natural side. Most of the looks had a top-knotted hairstyle.
5. Tadashi Shoji
The hair was kept simple with ponytails. The eye makeup took away all the attention. Irrespective of the color of the outfit, brilliant eyeshadow colors were used. In a few cases they were matched and in others, just random colors were used.
Two-tone glitter pigments were seen in each look. One of them being glittery silver and other bright colors like red, blue and black. One of the colors covered the eyelid and extended to the outer edges like a long wing up to the temples. Try it for Halloween!
6. Jeremy Scott
Metallic foil lips is what Jeremy Scott’s makeup artist came up with in the Spring Summer 2019 fashion show. Just contouring and highlighting was done to finish the makeup. No eye makeup at all except barely-there mascara. Center-parted sleek hair was the go-to hairstyle in the show!
7. Marc Jacobs
Indeed an everyday makeup look! Matching eyeshadow extending up to the brows, glossy lips and you are good to go.
8. Coach
Messy, out-of-the bed hairstyle was spotted in Coach Spring 2019 show. The makeup was minimal with no highlighting. All we could see was the eyeliner extending below the eye in most of the looks. Nude lips are still trending in the fashion week looks.

9. Chanel
Dewy skin with neon pink lips elevated the overall looks in Chanel Spring Summer 2019 collection. The makeup looked fresh and perfectly tuned with the beach theme of the collection. This makeup was accompanied with straw hats which are a mandatory summer accessory!
10. Prabal Gurung
With most of the looks having athleisure outfits, the sporty makeup look was seen in Prabal Gurung SS19 collection. We wouldn’t call it a no-makeup look but at the same time, it was not overdone. The sweaty moisturized look was the go-to makeup style in this fashion show. Kohl bronzer and nude pink lips were seen. Partially braided and messy hair accompanied them.
11. Christian Siriano
I liked the bright/lemon yellow eyeshadow that was used in almost all the looks, irrespective of the outfit color. This season may be the season of brights – bright dresses, bright handbags and now bright makeup! Hairstyle included partially braided hair.
12. Tom Ford
Tom Ford’s makeup artist opted for chocolate brown shades of eyeshadow covering the whole lid. The designer did not aim for a flawless skin and tried a more natural look. Soft lips, blush cheeks and highlighting completed the look.
The hair was tied in the form of a bun that was covered with headscarves. Scarves showing back knots or buns were seen. Emphasize your chignon with a scarf this season!
