Can you think of a drink that sounds and looks as good as this? Of course not! I’ve always wanted to combine my love for vodka and boba tea into one mouth-watering delectable drink. So check out this yummylicious boba smoothie recipe!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 shot vodka
  • Cooked boba bubbles
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Fresh fruit of your choice or any fruit bubble tea powder

Once you finish cooking the tapioca pearls, soak them in a bowl of vodka to infuse the flavor in the boba bubbles as well. For the fruits, you could use any favorite one of yours or even a combination of two or more! You could also use some flavored vodkas to make them taste even better! Blend the fruit, milk, vodka and water in a blender. If needed, add sugar as well. Pour the blended mixture into a glass, add the tapioca balls, some ice and one of those fat boba straws and enjoy!

3. Spicy Mango Boba Tea

For the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, check out this very unique, mexicanesque bubble milk tea recipe inspired by Thegastrognome. This boba tea recipe also makes the spicy and chewy bubble tea bubbles from scratch.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups brewed green tea
  • 1 tsp ground pequin chili (or any other of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup tapioca flour
  • ¼ fresh lime juice
  • 2 ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

In a bowl, mix together ¼ of the tapioca flour, ground chili and a pinch of salt. Then stir about ½ tsp of sugar into 2 tbsp of warm water in a different vessel. Once the sugar is dissolved, pour the mixture into the bowl with the tapioca flour and chili, slowly, while stirring. Keep adding the tapioca flour or water until you get a thick, slimy consistency.

Then, on a stove, add 1 tbsp of sugar and 5 cups of water into a vessel and bring to a boil. Shape the tapioca flour dough into tiny balls using your hands and drop them into the boiling water. Take them out after a minute or when they float to the top and leave them aside.

Now blend the mango, 2 cups of tea, lime juice, 1 and ½ tsp of sugar and ice cubes using a blender. Assemble the drink by pouring the blended mixture into a tall glass, add the tapioca pearls and your boba fruit tea is done!

4. Nutella Boba Tea

Nutella bubble tea ingredients:

  • 3 tea bags of your choice

Steep the tea bags in a glass of water for three minutes and leave it in the fridge to chill. Add 2 tbsp of any dairy creamer and hot water in a bowl. Stir and add a ginormous spoon of nutella and combine them all together by stirring some more. Pour this mixture into a cocktail shaker. If you don’t have one, just use a good old bottle. Also add the steeped tea and some ice into the shaker or bottle and shake well. Then, you know the drill, assemble the ice blended drink with the boba bubbles and you’re done! All that’s left to do is slurp on some nutella goodness!
